Moving School has reached the needy and down trodden children in South-West Maharashtra.
New school with 3 - rooms was inuagurated on 21st February,2010.
Background
The labours migrate from Karnataka state to various pockets of Souht West Maharashtra bordering Goa state. These labours are involved in stone queeries (Mining). There are children who stay along with their parents without basic education. MovingSchool identified some locations and started the first school in Maharashtra.

The Moving School is situated at Wagton , Devgad taluka , Sindhudurg district of SouthWest Maharashtra. It is about 140 kms from Goa and can be reached by Goa - Mumbai highway.

Mrs. Shobha Talawar , a married lady and Graduate in education is a teacher for Moving School , Wagton - Maharashtra. She has accomodation next to the school. She is enthusiastic lady taking care of the school.

Local Support
Proffessor Balwan and his wife are the lecturers in Arts and Commerce College , Devgad - Maharashtra. They visited the Floating School in the year 2007 and had a desire to start MovingSchool in their locality. The couple and the parents together construced 3 - rooms building for the class and teacher accomodation

1. There is acute shortage of drinking water.
